Here is a small taster of the work I achieved during my final year of university during my assessed converged newsdays unit where three teams worked together every day in a newsroom style environment to produce news stories either written for digital on the Bournemouth University BUZZnews website, or for lunchtime and evening bulletins for TV or Radio. In the video you will see some examples of the TV and Radio stories I worked on and presented.

During final year we were given the opportunity to make a 7 minute feature documentary on an original topic of our choice in either visual or audio format. I chose to produce an audio documentary focussed on the rare and complex eating disorder Diabulimia, with the aim of raising awareness in the wider media. We had to create a social media page and blog to promote our MMP. Here is a promo video that was shared on my MMP instagram page @battling_diabulima. Another unit from my final year of university involved creating an individual audio presentation about a particular aspect of reporting on marginalised voices and relating back to relevant guest speakers from the industry who we were lucky enough to hear from during the unit. My presentation: 'The Knock on Effect of Trauma-reporting on the marginalised voice' was focussed on reporting trauma.
